STYLES

To quote Danloe’s thoughts, please, kindly note: I do not use any artwork as a reference to create my AI-Art. I use my own imagination and spent high effort to develop my AI generated art. My results are based on creativity, human design thinking and decision-making. Important: in most cases, my illustration depicts a character or a particular scene from an existing short story or novel, or even a synopsis (in connection with Chornicles of Ammerún world campaign setting). Ultimately, whether we consider AI-generated art to be “real” art is a matter of perspective and a personal preference/decision. I believe, it is clear that there is a significant amount of time (at least 10-hours, more offen 20-40 hours/premium illustration, rarely 100 hours e.g. for Ultra Premium Selection), effort, and skill that goes into creating and developing AI-art, making it a memorable, unique, legitimate and valuable form of artistic expression. Thank you!

Style of the BLACK COAST – intense, richly detailed dark fantasy

“They were now staring with deathly eyes at their fourth companion, the stranger, who had arrived at nightfall in a milky mist on his pitch-black steed, his rusted armour like some ghostly night spirit.
It might have been so, his wrinkled face bathed in pale light, his thick hair caked with cobwebs and avarthyrs, his unkempt beard beating against his chest. The crest etched on his armour, once shining brightly, was long since faded, his boots creaked painfully with every step, and the iron hilt of his sword had centuries of rusted mould on it.” Midnight forest, 2014

Style of the KINGDOM – the classic “sword & sorcery” pathway

Example of PREMIUM COLLECTION No 3 Guardians of Amonster

“Few people know who I really am.
Rumour has it that I was born of a terrible marriage between a witch and an otherworldly demon, but at best, the Father of Devils himself is my great-grandfather. This is pure fiction, of course, but I have to admit there is some truth to it. Hah, the old childhood! I don’t have many memories of my past. Most of what I do remember is only good to leave me bitter. Still, I’d say those were great times!” Black Kullgan, in the novel Witchknight, 2014

(Full update coming soon)

I like to work with landscapes, buildings, trees, mysterious lights. A winter landscape always makes me feel calm and good. Even when the scenery is horrific, it brings back memories of adventure and old-time tabletop role-playing.

About Me

I am a dedicated fantasy fan and have been passionate about the genre for about 35 years. I have quite a bit experience as a writer and editor, but have always been interested in painting.
I have a small experience in abstract art with acrylic and have just started training in digital painting.
AI has brought me closer to my dream: I can create my heroes, my favourite scenes for my short stories, my novels, and of course my favourite reading experiences can come to life. I’m learning traditional and digital painting techniques and AI side by side.
I strive to create something cool, something memorable, because that’s always what drives me in my writing.
